ENGINES

COMBUSTION ENGINES

Spark plug: lights up the fuel into the piston tube.

Piston: makes pressure by being moved by the fuel explosions.

Air box: cools down the engine and provides the necessary air for the combustion to occur.

Oil pump: distributes oil to lubricate the engine.

Fuel injectors: injects fuel into the whole where the piston is moving.

Pulley: transmits the movement that has been produced by the engine.

How does it work?

The air goes into the combustion cam where the fuel enters too, and the spark plug ignites and then an explosion is produced. The explosion generates a force that makes the piston go down, and then the exhaust valve permits the gases to escape.

 ELECTRIC MOTOR

Electric motors generate magnetic fields with electric current through a coil. The magnetic field then causes a force with a magnet that causes movement or spinning that runs the motor.
